Changes in climate and weather patterns can greatly affect the nation’s environmental, social and economic systems. This research examines the biophysical and social factors that can influence how sensitive coastal areas are to climate change effects. To our knowledge, this is the first national climate sensitivity analysis of U.S. estuaries and their surrounding communities.
